This open edition from 2015 showcases one of seven irregularly shaped pins featuring the Genie of the Lamp set within the “Hidden Mickey” series, released during Wave B at Walt Disney World. These distinctive pins each feature the character in an animated scene, adorned with a gold lamp and a small hidden Mickey icon on the front. At that time, they were primarily available through trading with Cast Members. In August, pouches containing two random Hidden Mickey pins could be purchased for a certain price. This particular silver Chase pin features the Genie of the Lamp from Disney’s animated Aladdin wearing a top hat and carrying a swagger stick under his left arm, ready to perform in the “Friend Like Me” musical number. The background is silver, while the six common pins depict various scenes like taking a bubble bath, performing on the Applause Sign, dressed as Tourist Goofy in the “Group Hug” finale, or visiting the barbershop scene. This silver Chaser pin bears evidence of its Hidden Mickey designation within the official Pin Trading Logo and includes the ©DISNEY copyright and "MADE IN CHINA" imprint from China.
