This limited edition pin, produced in just 1500 units, commemorates Theodore P Trader, Steiff's exclusive teddy bear at the Disney World Annual Teddy Bear & Doll Convention of 2000. Standing tall with jointed arms and legs, he wears a black grosgrain ribbon around his neck adorned with multiple removable pins: one bearing STEIFF'S logo on red background, another with Theodore's name, and a third featuring an event emblem hung as a gift included with purchases of a toy at the convention. A number of these Theodore bears are now equipped with the "I was There" pin. Crafted from a wool/cotton mohair blend and fitted with a growler device that sounds when tipped, Theodore boasts a Steiff button on his left ear indicating the number of his edition among 1500 produced bears. Many have also been personally autographed by Tweed Roosevelt, great-grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt and an expert in family history. The pin elegantly features STEIFF's logo on a red background.
