This exclusive resort, situated to the west of the Magic Kingdom parking lot, is reserved exclusively for military members (both active and retired) and their families. Known as the Armed Forces Recreation Center, it serves these entitled personnel and operates independently on funds provided by military servicemembers themselves. The AFRC resorts are accessible not only to military individuals but also include other eligible services such as the Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps. Foreign military personnel, their families, when assigned or attached to U.S. military units or installations, or on US Travel Orders, are also welcome. Other federal civilian employees of firms under Department of Defense contract in the Pacific Region, those employed with official government orders, and all others authorized by the General Manager or his designee can access this resort. To check-in, bring a current or retired DOD/CG ID card, Retired ID card, or a Leave and Earnings Statement with photo ID. Smooth gold enamel characterizes the pin post, featuring a single pin barb for secure attachment.
