Released in 2014 as an open edition, this WDW-themed hidden mickey pin features a playful Russell from Pixar's UP movie, standing atop a hot air balloon shaped head. One of six pins part of the set released in Wave B at Walt Disney World, each character is depicted with cartoonishly oversized heads that serve as their flamingo-like balloons. The chins and necks are concealed as ropes with a small hidden mickey logo on the basket at the bottom. The pin was initially traded for by cast members, though from , pouches containing two random pins could be purchased for $. This particular Russell is distinguished by his black hair, yellow hat, and an orange-basket. Among other characters included in this set are Charles Muntz, Dug, old Ellie, old Carl, and the repeated Russell on a silver chaser pin. The pin’s reverse side features Silver Mickey-head waffle pattern with a single post that holds two small nubs, and proudly bears the official Pin Trading logo along with its unique ©DISNEY/PIXAR and MADE IN CHINA copyright notice.
