This open edition pin released in 2014 hails from the Villainous Sidekicks set of WDW Hidden Mickey pins. Each shield-shaped piece features different Disney characters, known as sidekicks, who are portrayed like bust portraits on a solid-color background framed with black borders and silver detailing. The iconic small Hidden Mickey icon appears in various locations on these distinctive pieces, initially attainable only through trading with cast members. In this case, the pin from 2014 showcases Maleficent’s goon from Sleeping Beauty standing prominently against a red backdrop, his head slightly angled to his right, appearing to grin menacingly, and holding an arrow in his left hand. On each of these six pieces, one character serves as the central subject, with additional common pins featuring Lucifer (from Cinderella), LeFou (from Beauty and the Beast), Pain and Panic (from Hercules), and Horace and Jasper (from Dalmatians). Originally available solely through trading, a pouch including two randomly selected Hidden Mickey pins could be purchased for a price. This particular pin featuring Maleficent’s goon maintains the official Pin Trading logo on its silver head Mickey-head background pattern with single-pin post design and official logo.
