The January edition displays the character standing before a black silhouette of Cinderella's Castle, with Donald wearing medieval attire while holding up a sword to represent Fantasyland; meanwhile, Huey, Dewey, and Louie serve as movement elements showcasing their roles in Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and Adventureland respectively through cowboy hats, astronaut spacesuits, and Tiki masks. Representing the magical world of Disneyland, the green stained glass "D" is accented by a gold retro logo featuring the iconic Mickey Head at the bottom left, while Monty Maldovan created the original artwork for this unique multi-part design.
