This is the third release within the Sorcerer Hat Mystery Pin Collection series, featuring unique character and attraction designs inspired by Walt Disney Imagineering. While the pins in this specific "Characters" collection are sold individually in sealed boxes containing randomly selected Limited Edition pieces from various colors, the total edition size for all five pin types including the Chaser is restricted to the smallest LE number available on a Chaser pin; consequently, only complete sets of all five pins can be acquired at once. The box front showcases the sorcerer's hat with the collection name "Characters," while individual pins feature waffle-patterned backings with post inserts displaying the WDI logo and corresponding LE numbers, with the exception of the Mystery Chaser pin which appears on the back as a black hat with a question mark. Released in 2010 by Jack Danny Handke as an artist proof, each item is part of a limited edition batch sold through mystery boxes within larger gift sets.
