Released in June 2019 as an open edition for the re-opening of Disney's California Adventure at Disneyland, this set features four flat matte pins that originally depicted black-and-white photos of Walt Disney framed within a suitcase-shaped rim and handle. Following the initial launch, the collection was also sold starting on January 2021 at WDW and later became available through official retail channels. The design underwent significant modification during the May 2023 Pin Event held in Orlando, where epoxy-domed pins were introduced featuring an epoxy dome over the portraits while the flat matte versions retained their non-domed appearance on shorter cards. Although multiple factories produced both versions, maintaining identical prices and SKUs due to shared production lines, slight variations exist between the two types of images, though buyers are advised to verify each pin's authenticity before adding it to their collection; unfortunately, these items remain frequently faked by unlicensed Chinese manufacturers and are currently listed for sale.
