Vintage B.O.B. the Sanitation Robot - The Bla... — Disney Pin

Released in 1983 as an open edition, this real cloisonne brooch-back pin features Bob (B.O.B.) the Sanitation Robot from the Disney live-action sci-fi film "The Black Hole". Bob is shown facing forward in a gold-bordered design with orange enamel, white eyes, red face areas, and dark blue detailing; he sports an orange belt embroidered with his name. Given that B.O.B. appears only on this pin while the main character Vincent never appears elsewhere in the movie, one wonders if there was also a dedicated Vincent pin or other robots of this series produced at the time. The reverse side showcases a gold waffle pattern, and this item is securely fastened with a brooch back clasp, bearing the copyright mark © WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS.
