This original Disneyland Tour Guide pin, created between 1955 and 1970, represents the first of its kind designed to accompany the Cast Members who guided guests during the park's opening year and featured an early sterling silver hallmark on the reverse; while this specific iteration is marked with DISNEYLAND STERLING © W.D.P., later versions of the Tour Guide D pin were produced in gold-plated base metal without the original silver hallmark.
