Description

Released during the Magic Kingdom era, this open edition Fire Department Chief badge features a shield-shaped design that measures inches tall by inches wide to accurately replicate the official .9-inch replica used at the castle. The front displays the words FIRE CHIEF and the phrase MAGIC KINGDOM set across the bottom in an arch over two fire figures shaking hands with Mickey Mouse as they appear to be a Firefighter, all engraved onto the clasp backing of brass material. Notably, the reverse side is uncopyrighted, showing only the Disney copyright mark situated under Mickey's foot, and it should not be confused with any other sizeable or similar Magic Kingdom pins issued later in the series.
