This limited edition pin set was released in Japan as part of a special promotion for the American TV series *Lilo & Stitch*, featuring Lucky Customers who were fortunate enough to receive free copies from the DVD set; while details regarding whether this event involved a lottery or pre-orders are currently unknown, each package contained both pins inside a small plastic box with gold backing and metal pin backs. Each individual pin depicts Stitch facing right with his arms outstretched and Lilo facing left in the act of hula dancing, wearing matching grass skirts, Lilo adorned with a wreath of leaves, and Stitch with a white lei around his neck to honor their respective films' themes of love and friendship.
