Description

Released in the 1970s through the 1980s as an open edition of hand-painted mini ceramic heads, this pin features Daisy Duck's head facing right with blue eyes visible behind her half-closed gaze and a bright orange tongue. Her light purple or pink bow extends around the left side, accompanied by an open mouth outlined in red. Designed by Roz Simon and Wendy Niven of the West Coast ceramics company Flights of Fancy, these small pin profiles were widely produced for department stores and gift shops before gaining fame for their colorful designs on popular items like crayon boxes and chewing gum.
