Released in 1992 for the opening of the Kodak Shop at Main Street USA in Euro Disney Park, this open edition pin features a segment of a film roll with a yellow star and a red Mickey Mouse face, designed by Eastman Kodak and copyrighted by Disney. The pin, often given out to guests of sponsors prior to the official opening, was distributed during the two weeks leading up to the April 8, 1992, event. These special pins, including this one, were not sold but rather given out as a form of hospitality. Given the limited availability and the high demand, this particular pin was particularly difficult to acquire at the time, as it required trading three Disney MGM Studios pins and another item for it.
