In 2014, this open edition pin set featured six irregularly shaped Hidden Mickey designs from the Villainous Sidekicks series released in Wave B at Disneyland. The silver Chaser design prominently showcases a smiling and saluting Mr. Smeelike from Peter Pan, with Captain Hook’s dashing sidekick popping out of a lifesaver as the Hidden Mickey emblem appears on the left side. These unique pins were initially traded for by cast members but could now be purchased in pouches containing two randomly selected Hidden Mickey pins at a dollar price. The silver Chaser pin features Card Guards, Iago, Flotsam and Jetsam, Mr. Smee, and Ed as its collection common elements; whereas the Mr. Smee as featured here carries the common designation of Silver Chaser. Both sides depict the vintage Disney enamel finish, with Hidden Mickey logos bearing the unmistakable copyright and factory information from China’s Disney manufacturing plant.
