Released during the Walt Disney World years of 1987 to 1999 as an open edition, this collection features a brooch-style pinback displaying Mickey Mouse in action as the Sorcerer's Apprentice battling Maleficent's dragon, with large lettering on the front reading HAPPY th BIRTHDAY. The design was selected from a large batch of buttons distributed after the initial weeks when they were given to customers as checks for their tickets at WDW, resulting in such a wide distribution that many remain in the same condition even years later.
