Description

Released as an open edition in honor of the celebration that ran from January through April, this 2004 limited press coin features Cinderella and Prince Charming standing in her coach before the castle entrance at Tokyo Disneyland. The design captures the grandeur of the royal coronation ceremony and a subsequent light-hearted festival, with the Fairy Godmother visible on the steps to the right and a large candelabra flanking each side of the structure. A small Cinderella's coach is subtly incorporated into the silver filigree border at the top edge, while the reverse shows the brooch-type back for fastening.
