Description

Grumpy is one of the first pins created by Disney for one of their full-length movies. It was manufactured by Brier Manufacturing Co. in as part of a in connection with the release of Disney's first full-length animated film, "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs."Grumpy (Tomart's AA faces right, his arms crossed in front his his white beard. His coat is a grape purple color, with yellow hat, shoes and belt. He also has a red nose. His name is written at the base of the pin (in this particular case, painted with purple).The dwarf measures approximately /" mm) tall and /" mm) wide. The back has a simple pin clasp; there is also a very simple copyright of "© WD" on the reverse.It should be noted that with all the pins of this set, the pins were cast and then hand-painted. Because of this, there will be a great variety in the detail of each pin, though the color scheme should be the same.
