Description

Dopey is one of the first pins created by Disney for one of their full-length movies. It was manufactured by Brier Manufacturing Co. in as part of a in connection with the release of Disney's first full-length animated film, "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs."Dopey (Tomart's AA faces slightly right, his hands near to his waist and toward the front. He is painted with a yellow coat and light lime green hat, buttons, belt and shoes. He has a red splotch of paint on his nose and mouth area. His name is written at the base of the pin.The dwarf measures approximately /" mm) tall and /" mm) wide. The back has a simple pin clasp; there is also a very simple copyright of "© WD" on the reverse.It should be noted that with all the pins of this set, the pins were cast and then hand-painted. Because of this, there will be a great variety in the detail of each pin, though the color scheme should be the same.
