Released in 2016 as an open edition for collectors who own two pins from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Droid Mystery Set, this pin features B-UD or Buford standing before a black door with horizontal grey stripes. Originally a starfighter maintenance droid clad in yellow ceramic armor plate, the character was nicknamed Buford and served on D'Qar as part of the ground crew that maintained the Resistance's starfighters, known for being tough and hard-working despite initially being viewed as mere machines until granted independence as partners in the cause rather than mere machines. The reverse side displays the official Disney copyright hallmark.
