Description

Released in 1987 as a limited edition for the th Anniversary of Disney's animated film "The Little Mermaid," this six-pin set was packaged in a hinged velvet box and features Ariel sitting with her tail folded while holding pink seaweed flowers; she wears her signature lavender shell costume. The pin consists of four shaped pins displaying Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, and Scuttle, with a special addition of a snail and sea turtle from the "Under the Sea" musical number. Although the front measures only from tip to tip of her tail, it is notable for having two posts rather than just one. The reverse showcases a gold waffle-weave pattern with two pin posts that each include one barb, accompanied by a ©Disney, CHINA copyright hallmark on the back.
